Yufei Long finished the season with the most medals of anyone. Connor Garnett won three golds from three events in one week at the Sansan Fukuoka Open, the only triple crown of the season.
How the 2025 tiers worked
The first season used two labels rather than the ranking tiers that followed in 2026. An Open carried US$50,000 to US$70,000 in prize money and 1000 ranking points to each champion; a Cup carried US$150,000 and more points. Five stops were Opens and two, in Malaysia and Vietnam, were Cups.
Season storylines
Yufei Long was the season's most decorated player. She won three Women's Singles golds, at the Panas Malaysia Open, the Sansan Fukuoka Open and the MB Vietnam Open, more than any other woman, and added a Women's Doubles gold in Fukuoka for four in total and ten medals overall.
Two players won two of three at a single stop. Vanshik Kapadia took the Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles at the very first tournament and lost the Men's Singles final to Giang Trinh. Kaitlyn Christian won the Women's Singles and Women's Doubles at the Panas Malaysia Cup and lost the Mixed Doubles final.
Connor Garnett produced the only triple crown. He won all three of his events at the Sansan Fukuoka Open in August, which no player has repeated since.
Hong Kit Wong medalled almost everywhere and won once. He finished the season with nine medals, one gold, three silvers and five bronzes, a pattern that carried into 2026.
Sahra Dennehy closed the year with two singles golds. She won the Women's Singles at the MB Vietnam Cup and again at the Vibrant Linping Hangzhou Open, the last two stops of the season.
