Ly (VIE) beat top seed and reigning world champion Federico Staksrud (ARG) 11-7, 12-10, closing out a second game that went past 10-10. Wong (HKG), a day after taking out world No. 3 Connor Garnett in the quarterfinals, beat Hien Truong (VIE) 11-4, 11-0.
Sahra Dennehy (AUS) powered into the Women's Singles final with an 11-1, 11-1 win over Nicola Schoeman (AUS) and is one match from back-to-back singles golds. Chao Yi Wang (TPE) ended home favourite Yufei Long's (CHN) singles run 11-8, 11-7, though her hopes of three titles ended in the Mixed Doubles semifinals, leaving her in two finals.
Truong and Quan Do (USA) followed their quarterfinal upset of Garnett and Blaine Hovenier with an 11-3, 11-4 win over Tama Shimabukuro and Prycen Haas (USA) to reach their first Men's Doubles final together. Staksrud and Armaan Bhatia (IND) survived a three-game battle with Thomas Yu (CHN) and Len Yang (USA) to join them. In Women's Doubles, Alix Truong (USA) and Wang beat Dennehy and Long 11-4, 7-11, 11-6 to reach a final against Sarah Burr (AUS) and Jamie Haas (USA), who beat Aiko Yoshitomi (JPN) and Kara Wheatley (HKG) 11-6, 11-2.

The finals
The Men's Singles final has Wong hunting a second singles gold after Hong Kong against Ly chasing a first after three bronzes and a silver. Dennehy plays Wang, who is also in the Women's Doubles final. Alix Truong is in both the Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles finals, and Staksrud, out of singles, is still alive in Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

Ly got his gold, beating Wong 11-4, 11-4 in the last match of the tour's first season. Dennehy beat Wang 11-7, 11-2 for back-to-back singles titles, and Truong and Do came from a game down to beat Staksrud and Bhatia 10-12, 11-6, 11-5 in the Men's Doubles final. Alix Truong won twice, Women's Doubles with Wang 11-8, 11-6 over Burr and Haas, then Mixed Doubles with Staksrud 11-9, 11-1 over Nok Yiu Tang (HKG) and Eunggwon Kim (KOR). Staksrud took the Men's Singles bronze over Truong 11-9, 2-11, 11-8.
Long's two bronzes on the day, in Women's Singles and Women's Doubles with Dennehy, took her to 10 medals for the season, the most of anyone on the tour. Wong's silver made it nine, the most of any man.
