Alix Truong and Meghan Dizon (USA) ended Ting Chieh Wei's bid for a fourth straight Women's Doubles title, beating Wei (TPE) and Yufei Long (CHN) 11-8, 11-7 in the quarterfinals. Danni-Elle Townsend and Joseph Wild (AUS) upset second seeds Alix and Jonathan Truong in the Mixed Doubles semifinals, losing the first game and then winning 4-11, 11-0, 11-5.
Qualifiers Harsh Mehta (IND) and Jamie Haas (USA) took their run all the way to a final, beating Xiao Yi Wang-Beckvall (USA) and Vanshik Kapadia (IND) 6-11, 11-7, 11-6. Phuc Huynh (VIE) reached a second straight Men's Singles final by beating compatriot and Malaysia Open champion Giang Trinh 11-9, 11-3. He meets first-time finalist Hoang Nam Ly (VIE), who beat Hien Truong 11-5, 11-6.

The finals
The all-Vietnam Men's Singles final is a step up for both players. Ly took Hong Kong Open bronze; Huynh's Fukuoka silver came after he pushed Connor Garnett to three games in the final. Long has a shot at a third Women's Singles gold after Malaysia and Fukuoka, against Sahra Dennehy (AUS), in a rematch of the Fukuoka semifinal Long won 11-5, 11-9.
The Women's Doubles semifinal pits top seeds Alix Truong and Dizon against Townsend and Nicola Schoeman (AUS), the pair that took Fukuoka silver last week. Townsend also beat Truong in Saturday's Mixed Doubles semifinal. Men's Doubles top seeds Jonathan Truong and AJ Koller (USA) face Hong Kit Wong (HKG) and Eunggwon Kim (KOR), who have a silver and a bronze on tour and are hunting a first gold. The bottom half pairs Huynh and Mitchell Hargreaves (AUS), a first-time partnership, against George Wall and Wild, the Hong Kong Open bronze medalists.

Huynh won the home gold 11-5, 11-1 over Ly, a week after his Fukuoka silver. Long came from a game down to beat Dennehy 10-12, 11-6, 11-9 for her third singles title of the season. Koller and Jonathan Truong took Men's Doubles 11-6, 11-7 over Wall and Wild, Alix Truong and Dizon won Women's Doubles 11-3, 11-0 over Wang-Beckvall and Lauren Mercado, and Townsend and Wild beat the qualifiers Haas and Mehta 11-4, 11-9 for the Mixed Doubles title. Hien Truong beat Trinh 11-1, 11-4 for the Men's Singles bronze.
