Hien Truong and Quan Do won the Men's Doubles final at the MB Ho Chi Minh City Open 2026 against Hoang Nam Ly and Collin Johns 13-11, 6-11, 11-4 in front of a home crowd, taking the first game by two, losing the second and running away with the third.
It was a third title for the pairing after the Vibrant Linping Hangzhou Open 2025 and the Capital Securities Beijing Open 2026. For Johns, one of the most decorated Men's Doubles players the PPA Tour has produced in the United States, it was an unusual result on the losing side of a final.
Two golds in a day for Dikosavljevic
Andie Dikosavljevic won the Women's Singles 11-2, 9-11, 11-7 against Trang Huynh, ending the qualifier's run, then partnered Yufei Long to the Women's Doubles title 12-10, 11-5 against Xiao Yi Wang-Beckvall and Nok Yiu Tang. Both were her first golds in Asia.
Harvey converts after the Singapore silver
Adam Harvey beat Luc Pham 11-4, 11-4 in an all-American Men's Singles final, two weeks after losing the Singapore final on his Asia debut. Pham had knocked out top seed Hong Kit Wong to reach it.
Wong did not leave without a medal. He partnered Lingwei Kong to the Mixed Doubles title, beating top seeds Nok Yiu Tang and Eunggwon Kim 11-4, 8-11, 11-9.
