The seedings for the Capital Securities Beijing Open 2026 read the same way in three draws. Chao Yi Wang was seeded first in Women's Singles, Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Sahra Dennehy was seeded second in all three.
Both could therefore win a triple crown, and in each draw the other was the likeliest obstacle. The brackets kept them apart until the finals.

The last time the tour was in mainland China
Dennehy beat Wang 11-7, 11-2 to win the Women's Singles title at the Vibrant Linping Hangzhou Open in December, the second of two consecutive golds that closed her 2025.
Long's home event
Yufei Long won three Women's Singles golds during 2025, more than any other woman on the tour and part of four golds in all, but came into Beijing with a single singles bronze from the 2026 season. Lingwei Kong, seeded inside the top five across her events, was playing a home tournament weeks after her debut in Macao.
Ford debuts as the top Men's Singles seed
Zane Ford took the top Men's Singles seeding on his first PPA Tour Asia appearance, ranked tenth in the PPA Rankings and holding a singles bronze from the PPA Finals 500 in the United States the previous month. Hien Truong was seeded second, having won in Kuala Lumpur in May, which made him the first player to hold two pieces of the tour's three-part dragon medal set.
Kim and Wong try again
Eunggwon Kim and Hong Kit Wong arrived as the top Men's Doubles seeds with five medals together, one silver and four bronzes, and no gold.
