Sahra Dennehy went into semifinal Saturday at the Leapmotor Kuala Lumpur Cup 2026 still alive in all three of her events, with a triple crown in range for the second time this season.
She reached the Women's Singles semifinals by beating Lacy Schneemann 11-4, 11-0, and she was through in both doubles draws: Women's Doubles with Danni-Elle Townsend, Mixed Doubles with Len Yang. That gave her an awkward Saturday, opening against top seed Kaitlyn Christian in singles, partnering Townsend in the Women's Doubles, then playing against Townsend in the Mixed Doubles semifinal.
Khlif and Shimabukuro reach two semifinals each
Noe Khlif beat Luc Pham 11-9, 11-8 to reach the Men's Singles semifinals, where Harrison Brown was waiting after three full-distance wins and a straight-games victory over Nasa Hatakeyama. Khlif was also still in the Men's Doubles with Tardio.
Tama Shimabukuro, 15, ended Jimmy Liong Kai Long's run 12-10, 11-4 in the round of 16 in front of the home crowd, then beat William Hsieh 11-7, 11-6 in the quarterfinal to set up a semifinal against Hong Kit Wong. Shimabukuro had beaten Wong 11-9, 11-9 to win the Men's Singles title at the Macao Open in May.

The fourth-seeded Men's Doubles pair of Eunggwon Kim and Hong Kit Wong lost their quarterfinal to Clayton Powell and Armaan Bhatia, who went on to face Tardio and Khlif.
