Skechers Serves Up 4th International Pickleball Tournament – Malaysia Edition 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, 2026 – The rapid growth of pickleball in Malaysia reaches a new fever pitch this year as Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company™, returns to host the fourth consecutive Skechers International Pickleball Tournament in Malaysia. Scheduled to take place from May 8 to 10, 2026, the event promises to be the largest and most competitive iteration to date.
This year’s tournament moves from its 2025 home at PickleDepot in Sentul Depot to Tomaz Pickleball Club in Subang Jaya. Spanning a massive warehouse-style facility, the club offers over 15 high-quality indoor courts, including dedicated VVIP sections and a mezzanine viewing area that provides a perfect vantage point for spectators to catch the high-intensity matches.

Categories for Every Skill Level
The 2026 edition features 30 distinct categories, ensuring that everyone from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals can participate. Divisions are split across four major skill groups:
Junior (U18): Cultivating the next generation of Malaysian pickleball stars. Open to players aged 18 and below.
Novice: Perfect for those newer to the competitive scene (DUPR < 2.999). Open to players aged 19 and above, and 35 and above.
Intermediate: For experienced club players looking for a challenge (DUPR < 3.699). Open to players aged 19 and above, and 35 and above.
Open (Pro): The "Main Event" featuring top-tier local and international talent across 19+, 35+, and 50+ age groups. Open to players aged 19 and above, 35 and above, and 50 and above.
All matches at the tournament will be officially recorded under the DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) system. DUPR is the global standard that measures player performance across events to deliver an accurate, real-time skill level. Every registered participant gains a verified DUPR rating, adding international credibility to every match played.
