FILA has signed on as the Official Local Platinum Partner of the PPA Asia 1000 Leapmotor Kuala Lumpur Cup 2026. The event is one of this year's PPA Asia Tour stops in Malaysia, running from 9 to 13 September at The Hood, KL.
Through the partnership, FILA will outfit players, crew, volunteers, match officials and VIPs in official apparel and footwear for the full five-day tournament.
The centerpiece is the FILA Pickleball Clinic. It will be led by Athilla Miasara, Malaysia's No. 1 Women's Singles Player, and Syed Uzair, Malaysia's No. 2 Men's Singles Player. The sessions will give aspiring players hands-on drills and match play time to sharpen their skills and build confidence.
FILA Performance Icon Amir Ahnaf and Amelia Henderson will join the pair on court, alongside Malaysian pickleball content creators Jenn Chia and Jon Liddell.
The FILA booth will also mark the debut of the Volley Burst 2, a new pickleball shoe designed for intermediate players. Its Energized Ever-Grind outsole is built for grip on the court. A TPU midsole insert adds stability, and a cushioned PU insole keeps every step comfortable. Visitors to the booth can also join interactive activities for a chance to win FILA merchandise while stocks last.

FILA frames the partnership around its "Bold Moves, Beautiful Play" philosophy. The brand wants the tournament to give Malaysians of all levels a chance to play, connect and enjoy the sport.
