Hong Kong will make history this October as the first city in Asia to host a PPA Tour Asia Slam, the highest tier event on the circuit. The PPA Asia 1500 Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong Slam 2026 runs from 19 to 25 October at Kai Tak Arena, Kai Tak Sports Park. It closes out the 2026 season with a prize purse of up to US$1.1 million (approximately HK$8.58 million), the largest in Asian professional pickleball history.
The tournament is organized by F-Sports Promotions Limited, title-sponsored by Hang Seng Bank, and supported by the Hong Kong, China Tennis Association. The Hong Kong Slam will also carry 1,500 PPA ranking points, the maximum available on tour.
Beyond prize money and points, the tournament crowns the season's biggest prize: the roaring dragon head. It is the final piece of the year's interlocking hardware and is only available at this last stop of the season.
The Final Piece of the Puzzle
The Hong Kong Slam caps a landmark first full season for the PPA Tour Asia, which has now staged 10 stops across seven markets in 2026. Hong Kong's turn as host marks not just the tour's biggest event to date but also a major milestone for the sport's growth across the region.

Pro and Amateur Divisions Under One Roof
True to the tour's "Play Where The Pros Play" ethos, the Hong Kong Slam pairs elite competition with amateur categories across various age groups and skill levels. Categories include Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Amateur players will share the same courts and the same lights as the world's top professionals.
Online registration for both Professional and Amateur divisions opens on 10 August at 3:15 PM HKT. Amateur spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with further details to follow upon qualification confirmation. Players can register their interest through the official PPA Tour Asia website.
Hang Seng Credit Card has been named the priority booking partner for the event. Eligible cardholders get early access through exclusive priority booking, with additional ticketing details to be announced closer to the tournament.
The Tour's Biggest Stage Yet
The PPA Tour Asia runs on a three-tiered structure of Slams, Cups, and Opens, giving players across the region a clear pathway regardless of market or skill level. Every point earned throughout the season counts toward the global PPA Rankings, with the Hong Kong Slam offering the single biggest points haul of the year as players chase the world No. 1 ranking.
The tour started the year with stops in Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, and Macao. Closing out the season at Kai Tak Arena puts a fitting seal on what has been a landmark year for professional pickleball in Asia.
