The PPA Asia 1500, Hang Seng Bank Hong Kong Slam 2026 will run from October 19 to 25 at Kai Tak Arena, Kai Tak Sports Park. It closes out the PPA Tour Asia's ninth stop of the year with the largest prize purse the tour has ever offered in the region.
Organized by F-Sports Promotions Limited and title-sponsored by Hang Seng Bank, the tournament will convert Kai Tak Arena into 24 international-standard pickleball courts. More than 860 professional and amateur players signed up within two weeks of registration opening, filling every available spot. Tickets go on public sale via HK Ticketing on September 10 at 9:00 AM. Hang Seng Visa Credit Card holders get priority booking from September 4 at 4:00 PM through September 9 at 11:59 PM.
A Record Purse and a Home Favorite
The tournament will offer a total prize purse of up to US$1.1 million, the highest in Asian professional pickleball history. It also carries 1,500 ranking points across five events: Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

Top-ranked player Hong Kit Wong returns to defend the Men's Singles title he won on home turf last year, when he also took Silver in Men's Doubles. He's been in strong form across the 2026 season, with 5 Gold, 5 Silver, and 13 Bronze medals at various stops.
According to Wong:
"Winning the gold medal last year with the support of the home crowd was an unforgettable experience. This year, I will be giving my all to defend the title and intend to deliver the most thrilling performance for the fans in Hong Kong."
He'll be joined by fellow home favorite Nok Yiu Tang, along with Len Yang (USA), Yufei Long (China), and Lingwei Kong (China). All appeared at the official announcement press conference.
