The biggest gathering of pickleball minds in Asia is back. On 6 and 7 June 2026, the Asia Pickleball Summit 2.0 (APS 2.0) will take over Hextar World Exhibition Hall at Empire City in Kuala Lumpur. This event brings together everyone from federation leaders and brand owners to court operators, professional players, and investors for two full days of talks, exhibitions, and open play.
Organised by ReSkills in partnership with co-organisers AFA and APTV, APS 2.0 builds on the momentum from the first edition and arrives at a moment when pickleball's growth across Asia has reached a genuine inflection point. The summit is a celebration of the sport's success and its future.

A Minister in the Room

One of the clearest signs of how far pickleball has come in Malaysia is the presence of Yang Berhormat Dr. Mohammed Taufiq Bin Johari, Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia, as Guest of Honour. His attendance reflects the growing recognition of pickleball at the national policy level and signals that this is no longer just a grassroots conversation. It is a sport that the government is watching closely and taking seriously.
16 Talks, 20+ Speakers, and Real Industry Depth

The conference programme at APS 2.0 is the backbone of the conference. Sixteen deep-dive talks and panel sessions will cover sport development, business strategy, federation growth, investment opportunities, and the future direction of pickleball across Asia. The speaker lineup draws from over 20 international voices and thought leaders who have been building the sport at scale in their respective markets.
Topics will not shy away from the hard questions either. Court operators, brand owners, and federation leaders will share what is working, what is not, and what the industry needs to do collectively to sustain growth.
An Exhibition Floor That Covers the Full Industry
Beyond the stage, more than 20 exhibition booths will showcase what the pickleball industry looks like right now. Equipment makers, court solution providers, and service companies from across the region will be on the floor, with two dedicated pickleball courts set up inside the hall itself. Those courts serve a dual purpose: a live game viewing area and a hands-on demo zone where paddle brands can put their products directly in the hands of attendees.
Open Courts Running All Day Outside
Sponsored by Playa Racquet Club, a dedicated outdoor court area will be running throughout both days of the summit. Attendees can step out between sessions for open play, informal networking games, or simply a break from the exhibition floor. It is a reminder that behind all the business talk, this community is connected by a genuine love of the sport.
Why This Matters for Malaysia and the Region
Malaysia has been quietly positioning itself as a central hub for pickleball's growth in Asia. The return of APS to Kuala Lumpur reinforces that. For the local community, this is an opportunity to connect with regional and international leaders, put Malaysian pickleball in front of the people shaping the sport's future, and be part of conversations that will influence how the sport develops across the continent.
For anyone involved in pickleball at any level, whether as a player, club owner, coach, brand, or investor, this is the most concentrated gathering of people moving the sport forward that Asia has to offer right now.
